Hey there, my name’s Miryah (pronounced Mir-ai-ah), and my faith journey has been a wild ride of discovery, doubt, and finally, divine intervention.
I didn't grow up with much talk about God - religion just wasn't a big part of our household conversation. It wasn't until my late twenties that I started feeling a pull, a hunger for something deeper. But diving into spirituality wasn't all smooth sailing for me.I tried going to church, but I felt unaccepted, like I didn't belong (especially as a beginner believer). It hurt, I cried, and because I didn’t feel safe in the church, I didn’t know where to turn. I knew there had to be more to this whole God thing, but I felt lost, intimidated by the bible, and overwhelmed by where to even start.In my late twenties, I found success in the fitness world—I was a three-time undefeated World Champion Fitness Competitor and graced the covers of magazines worldwide. But this was a shallow pursuit... I knew there was more to life than just physical achievements.So, I ventured into the realm of coaching women on how to live authentically and align with their personal values. But here's where it gets interesting—I got swept up in the world of new age spirituality. Crystals, oracle cards, you name it—I was all in. It felt like I was on the right path, but something was still missing.Then 2022 hit me like a ton of bricks. I found myself in the midst of the toughest situation I'd ever faced. And let me tell you, those new age spirits I'd been dabbling with? They just couldn't cut it. So, in desperation, I turned to prayer. And guess what? Jesus showed up in a big, undeniable way. I saw Him, felt Him, and knew that He was there, guiding me through it all.That moment changed everything for me. I found a church I felt safe in, I dove into the Bible and read it cover to cover twice in just one year, my fiance and I got married, and I built a foundation of faith in God.And then, bam! God dropped the idea for Found Through Faith on me.Found Through Faith is not about me, it's about Him. It's about making the journey to knowing God a little less intimidating, a little more enjoyable. Because let me tell you, His love changed my life, and I'm on a mission to help others experience that same transformative power that only Jesus and our heavenly Father can provide.So, welcome to the Found Through Faith Family.
